Most Thrift stores have the same notion to bring used items to the public at discounted prices.  However, now a days, most thrift stores that once offered bargains now charge obscene prices for goods they usually have donated.  At Last Chance! Thrift, we do not believe in charging the ebay price for things.  Used goods are to be sold at prices that suit their condition: used.  Some stores have even gone so far as to look at the actual price of a book, and set their own prices based upon that assumption that people are willing to pay $2.99 for a book that once cost $6.99.
